9. Who will lead the Jazz in turnovers this season?
Haslam – Trey Burke- He will be learning and playing a much faster game. Expect him to lose the ball quite often.
R. McDermott – Enes Kanter or Trey Burke. Trey is a rookie pg and they always struggle with turnovers and Kanter well is still learning some things.
L. McDermott – Trey Burke. I think he will cut down on them as the year goes on but look for him to make a lot of mistakes early as he adjusts to the NBA game. No reason to panic, just part of the learning process.
Newman – One of the Burk(e)(s) boys. Even though I said earlier that Trey takes care of the ball he is still a rookie pg who is going to get lots of minutes in the much faster NBA. Alec also may turn the ball over a lot since he’s more of a slasher/driver then a shooter.
Anderson – Easily Trey Burke. He’s transitioning to the NBA and trying to get a feel for his teammates’ preferences within a new NBA offensive system.
Powers – Trey will have to adjust to the speed on an NBA game, and it is going to take a little bit of time for him to get that figured out. Once he does adjust, the turnovers will go down, but he should still turn the ball over more than anyone else.
