4. Will Trey Burke win Rookie of the Year?

Haslam : Yes-  Although I believe he will win ROY I don’t think he will be the player from this draft.  Burke is one of very few rookies that will start right from the get go and he will be the only one that has the ball in his hands all the time.

Newman : Yes Trey is going to get the most playing time of any rookie most likely and he’s going to be the leader of this team.  Rookie of the year in the bag.

L. McDermott : Yes

R. McDermott : Yes

Anderson :  Yes. Why? He has no competition and every opportunity to play forty minutes per night and be successful.

I do agree with everyone that I think Trey will win Rookie of the Year, but I think he will have more competition than people think. Michael Carter-Williams will probably be a day 1 starter for the Philadelphia 76ers after they traded away Jrue Holliday. Kelly Olynyk, who played fantastic in summer league for the Boston Celtics, should play a lot of minutes now that Kevin Garnett is gone. I think it will come down to those 3, but Trey should win.
