11. True or False? The Jazz will be a top 5 defensive team this season.

Haslam : True-  I think the Jazz will shine on defense as witnessed when the young guys played together last year.  I’d even go as far as to say the Jazz will allow less than 95 points a game.

Newman : False.

L. McDermott : False.

R. McDermott : False.

Anderson : Not even close. They’ll be lucky to be top fifteen. So, false.

I actually think that the Jazz could be real close to being a top 5 defensive team. The 5 young guys play tremendous defense. Trey Burke could be the one on the starting unit that struggles. The bench though, has been constructed based on defense. Biedrins, Rush, Gobert, and Clark are all fantastic defensive players and, if they play to there potential, could be the difference maker for pushing at a top 5 ranking. Don’t be surprised with how good this team could be on defense.
