10. True or False? The Jazz will have a top 5 offensive team this season.

Haslam : False-  I don’t think the Jazz have the fire power to be in the top 5 yet and probably not for a couple years.

Newman : False.

L. McDermott : False.

R. McDermott : False.

Anderson : False. No one on this team has experience at the pro level averaging anything close to twenty points.

While I am on the same page with everyone else in saying that the Jazz will not be a top 5 offensive team this season, I do disagree with not having guys that can score. Hayward is a very capable scorer and has proven that. We have seen glimpses of what Favors and Kanter can do, and with the minutes, that could improve dramatically. Burks hasn’t had the opportunity to show everything that he is capable of. He will do that this season. Burke proved in college what he can do, but he will have to transition his game to the NBA and prove himself there.

If Brandon Rush can return to his old form, he could have a big year off the bench. Clark can also score if given the minutes. Andris Biedrins, Jeremy Evans, John Lucas III, and Rudy Gobert are not offensive machines, so the bench could play a big part in why the Jazz can’t score as much as they would like to.
