9. True or False? Ian Clark will have a big impact on the Jazz this season.

Haslam : False-  Great pickup but he will at best play 10 minutes a game and no “big” impact can happen from that.

Newman : True if you consider someone coming of the bench and contributing here and there off the bench.

L. McDermott : False

R. McDermott : False

Anderson : Surprisingly, I think he will. He had a strong Summer League and can shoot the rock. He’ll definitely have a role with how aggressively they went at him to sign him, and his skills will help.

Ian Clark will be a good player off the bench for the Jazz. With Marvin Williams still recovering from surgery, the Jazz will be without his services until at least January. Even then, he wont be at 100% for most the season. If I had to give an answer, I would say that the Jazz brought in Clark to play as the backup shooting guard and move Brandon Rush to the small forward position. Clark can shoot the ball and plays tremendous defense. His play will earn him minutes on the court. Even after Marvin comes back into the lineup, I think Corbin could keep the rotation of Clark at the 2, and Rush at the 3.
