9 : Minnesota Timberwolves select Ben McLemore, SG, Kansas

I can already see people reading this and saying, “there is no way he falls clear to 9!” Crazier things have happened people.  McLemore was viewed as a potential number 1 pick in this draft earlier in the year.  However, this draft is so crazy that no one knows what is going to happen.

Minnesota needs a shooting guard and has been rumored to trying to move up in the draft because they are afraid that McLemore and Oladipo will both be gone by the 9th pick, which could be true.  However, when I look at team needs up until this pick, there is a very real chance that he could still be on the board.

McLemore has been compared to Ray Allen with his shooting ability.  Plus his explosiveness makes him extremely intriguing and hard to pass up.  He still could go as high as number 2 in the draft, but if Orlando takes Noel this could very well happen.
