Paul Millsap – Unrestricted – 2012-2013 Salary $8,603,633

Millsap started his career with the Jazz. He’s the longest tenured player on the team. He has been great for the team, but it might be time to move on.

Everyone that is a Jazz fan seems to be on the same page. Start Derrick Favors. Management should be getting on the same page this season. Favors has started to show that it is his time to be the center piece of the Jazz franchise. Millsap, I think, realizes that too and he is not going to come off the bench. He will want to start and he wont be able to in Utah and he will go somewhere else to start.

The Jazz own the bird rights on Millsap, so they can get something out of him leaving. They could do a sign and trade with a team. Whatever Millsap decides to do though, I don’t believe he will decide to stay.
