In preparation for the 2013 NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz will hold pre-draft workouts with Lorenzo Brown (North Carolina State), Reggie Bullock (North Carolina), Shane Larkin (Miami), Amath M’Baye (Oklahoma), Tony Mitchell (North Texas) and Malik Story (Nevada). They will work out for the Jazz basketball staff.
Shane Larkin, son of Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin, is in Utah today to work out for the Utah Jazz. Point Guard from the University of Miami recorded and impressive 44″ vertical leap at the combine. He is a very athletic point but is a bit undersized at 5’11”. The kid can flat out shoot the ball and will be able to get his shot in the pros as well.
Lorenzo Brown and Reggie Bullock both are ACC products and could be a possibility at 21 or if the Jazz decide to move back in the first round. Brown has incredible length and could really be the sleeper of the draft from NC State while Bullock was the best shooter at the NBA combine 3 weeks ago.
Tony Mitchell of North Texas is the only other projected first rounder in the group. He is a 6’9″ 238 lb forward that not very many people have seen play and might also be a surprise in the draft. Much like Kenneth Faried did from Morehead State.
