Utah Jazz: Best Jazz Players, No. 3 Devin Harris

No. 3

Devin Harris – 10.32

Devin Harris scores a 10.32 to clinch the three-spot.

Devin Harris averaged 15.2 points, 7.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game in 2010-11 (Nets and Jazz included) with a turnover-to-assist ratio of 2.45.

Harris has been continually under criticism from the Jazz’s fan base, simply because the majority of fans are used to a highest-tier point guard, i.e. Deron Williams and John Stockton. There was also constant stipulation that the Jazz would trade Devin Harris on draft night, in turn selecting a point guard with their third overall pick.

But that didn’t happen.

All criticism aside, Devin Harris is one of the league’s premier point guards. I truly expect him to come into the 2011-12 season with a mentality to win; to carry his team as far as they can possibly go. The Utah Jazz’s management believes in him, and I truly expect him to be a facilitator on the floor, and a leader in the locker room.

Is Devin Harris our point guard of the future?
